if the personnel listing here is correct
(and it's in NYC, where almost anything is possible)
this is more like Jack DeJohnette's Special Directions,
since it includes part of the 1979 Special Edition, and
all of "New Directions" with Bowie, Gomez and Abercrombie,
and not the same group that played in Boston about a month earlier.
(that was just Bowie, Gomez, Abercrombie and DeJohnette)
this is definitely not just that same quartet since this one has
both a sax and trumpet, the only JDD show I've ever heard
that doesn't have just 1 horn player, either a trumpet, or sax.
the music sounds pretty similar to Boston feb 1978 show though.
