Jackson Browne--On Tour 2003


Jackson Browne toured with a full band in support of The Naked Ride Home album in the early months of 2003. Throughout the summer of 2003 Jackson and his band toured with Steve Earle and Keb’ Mo’.
During those tours, Jackson treated his audiences with a wide variety of material which included songs from the new album and classic songs from throughout his career. Fortunately for all of us there were many dedicated and talented tapers recording these performances, resulting in some awesome recordings. The material included below is A+ quality with the exception of a couple of the one-time-only performances on Disc 4, which suffer from being recorded at too high a level. Additionally, one track on Disc 4 comes from an analog recording (but has excellent sound for what it is). The rest are amazing audience recordings which can be played as loudly or as quietly as one prefers.

This compilation was treed by The Pope and myself to more than 1,000 Jackson Browne fans in late 2003, but it has never been offered previously here at DIME to my knowledge. There has been one small change made to Disc 4 as I have added some conversation before and after the music on Track 9. Otherwise, this is the identical show that was treed 8 years ago.
