James Brown comes to Wrigleyville.
This is a pretty awesome show.
It's about two hours of music.
Of course not all with James on the stage but
it's all funky.

One bizarre note: there are a couple of 'theme songs'
that make several appearances through the show.
They are 'There's No Business Like Show Business'
and the 'Entertainment Tonight' theme song.
From here on out known as TNBLSB and ET.
Just roll with it. lol

I don't know for sure what to call tracks 2 and 3.
They both sound familiar.
Both very funky with 2 featuring a long Maceo
Parker workout and 3 featuring more of the same
with a drum solo.
And then there's the twenty five minute 'Super Bad'.

Now when you listen to this you may be thinking at times
'James isn't loud enough'. I don't know if they did that on purpose
or what. James was getting on in years and he didn't have the voice
that he had in earlier years, maybe they kept him down somewhat
on purpose. Or maybe some of the venues I saw him at in those days
just screwed it up, I don't know. It's not the fault of my primitive
recorder. If he had been louder in the venue he would be louder on the tape.
