Artist: James Brown and the JB's
Venue: Lone Star Cafe, 5th Avenue, NYC
Date: early spring, 1985
SBD

I received this tape somewhere around 1988, don't know much about it, because it only said: James Brown, Lonestar.
When i googled it i found this article:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mark-levine/my-two-minutes-with-james_b_37367.html
So this must be that night. Must be before the release of Living in America, his big comeback.
Only assuming here, you're guess is as good as mine.
The tape had two sets, one on each side and both incomplete.
It's a soundboard, probably taped direct from the desk, i don't think this was broadcasted on FM, but maybe i'm wrong, can't find any info on this.

Soundquality: i think this is a third generation transfer, sound is okay, not brilliant. The original tape was a bit wobbly i guess, it also has some dropouts and some backgroundnoise.
I transferred it from my Nakamichi BX-150E into my pc.No dolby.
