James Brown and the JB's
Salem, Virginia
20 november?, 1970
Audience tape
CD>EAC>Adobe Audition 3>Flac.
Got this on cd long time back. It's a audience tape, quality is fair. Quite a bit of rumble.
The date is a bit of a mistery. It says 20 november, 1970. However Phelps Collins is still playing guitar.
Bootsy left the band after the may 1970 european tour. So was Phelps still playing after that?
On the other hand Superbad is named as the latest hit. And 'Get up, get into it, get involved' is not played here.
So this could mean this show was recorded before the march 1970 tour.
Anybody got some info on this mistery?
