James Brown and the Soul G's
Venue: Somewhere in Washington DC
Date 01_01_1986
Source: Taped from FM, third generation
Quality: G

Pretty weird tape this one. I received it round 1988.
It's a FM broadcast from newyearseve 1986, the station is unknown, must be from Washington DC.
It starts of with Living in America, but there is a lot going on, strange echoes, hum etc.
Claearly the sound engineer is having a difficult time. During the 3rd song, Try me, there is some stage accident and
James tries to control the crowd. I really love the part where he says: "Is there a doctor on the stage?"
I edited out all the dj talk, wishing each other happy newyear and stuff.
Rest of the tape is okay. Still some weird mix trickery: echoes, voices going from left to right etc.
Maybe there was some alcohol involved here? Or some chemicals? I mean it was Newyears eve after all.

Linage: Tape>Adobe Audition>some eq>Flac.
