Welcome to Volume 93 of the MRDR Master Series and a rainy night Venice.
MR was not able to attend so DR handled all taping and photo duties tonight and did an excellent job under less than perfect conditions. I'm not sure how he pulled it off, you can clearly hear the rain during the show, see audio sample 1, but the recording remains stable from start to finish.
The show has to be cut slightly short and turns into more of a hits show after Taylor announces that he's told he can only play five more songs because it's not safe, we also get a rare playing of "Rainy Day Man" in acknowledgement to the continuing rain.
One additional note, last weeks release of 2009-07-15 Piazzola sul Brenta included artwork for this show...corrected artwork for that show was updated in the comments. If you downloaded it please go to the comments and grab the correct artwork.
Thanks to MR & DR for all the excellent shows we are able to share week after week and a special thanks to DR for this weeks release sticking with it capturing the complete performance.
As always we have included photos in the artwork taken at the show by DR this time out.
