Known Faults:
- Disc One: some rustling during track 101
- Disc Two: plentiful crowd noise
The first disc is an excellent recording - almost no crowd noise, even though recorded from the middle of the lawn at Tanglewood. I don't think the recording could have come out better.
For reasons I can't explain I switched recording modes before the second set. While the MS mode produced great stereo separation, it also picked up a ton of crowd noise. I've don't my best
to deal with it (including making some songs, and parts of some other songs, mono to remove a noise originating from only one side of the recorder).
If you like James Taylor, you won't go wrong in downloading disc one. If you REALLY like James Taylor, then go for the second disc as well. I'll try not to repeat this mistake next year.
