MSG was set up in the round, with a circular stage slowly rotating right in the middle of the floor. Sat middle of the first tier of seats off the floor near center of long axis (good seats). Core-Sound cards to Sony PCM-D50 (48 kHZ, 24 bit), WavePad Sound Editor to chop and FLAC only. Double recorded with Core Sound HEB's as well, but I think the cardiod recording is marginally better. If anybody wants the HEB recording for comparison I can post it. Lots of dynamic range difference between the talk and the songs, so there are a few level adjustments, and the people I was with make an occasional comment about a song, so be warned. Still a pretty good recording of a great show.

Who wouldn't have enjoyed this show? Does anybody not like these songs? They seemed to appreciate being in NYC (Carole's history at the Brill Building and all that), and except for the Troubador this might have been the venue of choice. NYC loved them, and it sure seemed like they loved us too.
