A beautiful concert on a late Saturday evening (they had already done one before).
But and it is only the first set and you can imagine that I could have kicked myself when I noticed that.
So it's only 36 minutes and a bit but still worth a listen.
I didn't have my Iriver so long and for whatever reason the second set was not recorded.
Also the recording level was quite low so you might hear some hiss from the editing (normalizing).
I was sitting in the front row just left in front of the center and could even see the nose hair of one of the singers looking up to them.
The Hilliards came from the back from the Basilika (quite a long way as you can see on the artwork)
passed me from the right and entered the stage. If you listen with earphones you might even hear that because
the Soundman microphones are in-ear-microphones. Also between track 3 and 4 they left the stage and came back
from different corners of the Basilika.
So enjoy this recording, I think it is - for being an audience recording - quite a treat.
