notes:
-another from my archives, this is one of Wes' master recordings I am sure due to hearing his cheering on the tape, the abrupt cuts at
the end of tunes in order to save tape, and the "sound" of his Aiwa recorder - this makes it a 2nd gen tape for me. Wes used to get a table as close as
possible and just put his Aiwa walkman with internal mic right on table. He was not a quality buff at all - was happy if he could just listen to it 1-3
more times again and likely never again - luckily a friend and myself used to make copies. I used to be picky with his stuff because the sound just
wasn't that great, but this is still quite listenable to: in the "B+/B" range - it's just lower-quality Aiwa shit.
-this is an incredible show from this all-star configuration of Jan's Group. David & Eberhard are just amazing, space-jazz masters and just seem to
duel off on each other. Great stuff!
-track 5 is the end of track 4 with a tape flip dividing them. Ditto with tracks 10 & 11.
