Show Notes:
Jason Isbell. ON 4/20! FIRST show of the tour. SEVERAL new songs. NO other tapers seen. TIGHT-AS-FUCK band. FIRST show of 22 shows in 23 days. Not all notes will be like this, but if you're not sold by now, there's no helping you.

OK, the jam at the end of "Never Gonna Change" is face-melting. It seems Kevn Kinney introduced Sadler Vaden (the 'new guy' onstage, the 400 Unit is now a 5 piece, they were a 4 piece when I saw them 3 times in 2012) either at that Sun Tangled Angel Revival show in '13 or at a DNC show last year. The kid has chops.

I'd also like to commend the (almost all of 'em) respectful Chattahoochie (sic) crowd. It was posted "no videos or picture taking" at the door, and it's the first show I've attended in a LONG time that only 2-3 cell phones were visible at any given time.

Y'all should thank Dennis. As without him, you'd not get a chance to hear this stuff when you hear it. I just push the shiny red button and observe shit.

The vault is closed for a bit. Too much new currency hitting the till the next 3 weeks...pretty sure I'm taping "something for everyone" this trip, as 70% of these artists I've never seen before. Southern Culture On The Skids tonight, and again tomorrow with Drivin N Cryin (at the time these notes were written, the torrent may hit the innerwebs (sic) later than today.).
