Comments:

The final show of the Jayhawks' 2014-2015 tour promoting the re-release of the Olsen-less trilogy of Jayhawks albums (Sound of Lies, Smile, and Rainy Day Music) featuring the 2000's-era edition of the band. Much better show than the previous night, both because it was longer with a more interesting setlist, and because of the guest appearance of Pat Sansone from Wilco. This featured a funny Steve Miller medley ("Fly Like an Eagle"/"The Joker") early in the set, and Sansone's guesting solos on some of their classics later in the show.

Overall a good performance, with a feel-good vibe that comes with the final show of a tour. The encore features an interesting cover of Neil Young's "Sedan Delivery" with Sansone guesting on keyboards and vocals, and a nice Golden Smog cover to close the show.

In terms of recording, this came out very well, with no noticeable audience interference and a pretty good mix overall. The recording quality is slightly better than the previous night because I was two rows closer to the PA. The only downside is the last two minutes of the show -- Gary encouraged fans to stand up, and when I did so the sound quality became a little oversaturated. Still quite listenable, but I wish I'd remained seated. In any case, I'm sure Jayhawks fans will be glad to have this, since this is the final date of the tour and the band has nothing planned for 2015.

Mp3 samples are included in the comments.
