If you are one of the 8% who regularly take time out to thank the authors of the torrents you grab, please go about your business, and ignore the rant below.

If you are a member of the 92% who don't, please read on:

When you are grabbing this, OR ANY OTHER TORRENT HERE OR ELSEWHERE, take a minute to remember that a real person, not some multinational corporation took the time to capture this moment in history just for you. A real person captured the show that you will be enjoying for the rest of your life off their local radio station. Yea folks, a real live human being then spent many many hours of their own life (which you don't get back, btw) to transfer the show, then author the show breaking down the files, etc. Then, that very same real live person generously left their computer running for days at a time so that you, YES, I am talking to YOU, could get to see a show by a band that you dearly love, that you never would have had the chance to see otherwise. Why on earth would a person do that? Maybe because they too, love music and wanted to help out in some small way to make this mean old world a little brighter, a little better. So when you are done and ready to move on, perhaps you, who are also a real live human being, could take 15 seconds of your life to hit these keys in this order: T h an k y o u. Eleven strokes is all it takes to keep the music flowing...

And, if that is too much for you, it could be even shorter if you just say t h a n k s . Eight strokes and seconds of your, oh so busy, life. But, then again, you probably don't have the attention span to read this far.

If not, imagine the silence that would ensue if all of the authors suddenly stopped feeding your addiction.
