Financial Support:
The Cylinder Preservation and Digitization Project relies on grants and outside funding for its ongoing operations. Infrastructure and project leadership are provided by the UCSB Libraries, but ongoing funds for digitizing, cataloging, and preserving new acquistions as well as acquiring rare cylinders comes from private individuals, foundations, and government agencies.

It costs us approximately $60 to catalog and digitize a cylinder. Adding another 500 cylinders to the archive and putting them online costs approximately $20,000. If you would like to support this work and make a financial contribution to the project, please contact project director David Seubert at 805-893-5444 or at seubert@library.ucsb.edu. http://cylinders.library.ucsb.edu/index.php
