Jean-Luc Ponty - Hamburg 1976-09-17 FM (reseed)

Here's a favorite Jean-Luc Ponty recorded in his 70's prime! French Violinist Jean-Luc Ponty had been a solo artist since the mid 60's, but it was through his sessions with Frank Zappa and Mahavishnu Orchestra lp's that showcased his talent to an american audience. With the addition oF Sweetbottom guitarist Darryl Stuermer in late 1975, Jean-Luc's inventiveness became electrified. Taken from a FM rebroadcast and recorded on his "Imaginary Voyage" tour, this show features songs from his first three lp's on Atlantic Records and is Classic Ponty! All Praise to the original recordist, and original seeder (please step forward)!
