Finally got to watch a show of Jean-Luc Ponty after several times he visited Brazil. At first I was a little leery after verifying that
the current lineup of his band does not have a guitarist but frankly I do not know if was sorely missed. Baron Browne on bass and William
Lecomte on keyboards left everyone flabbergasted. However, the luck again smiled at me. In the example of what happened exactly one month
before in the show oj Jeff Beck where he assembled a band exclusively for the concert he did in Sao Paulo with Vinnie Colaiuta, Tal Wilkenfeld
and Jimmy Hall, JLP brought forth Rayford Griffin who is not following in the last shows of JLP. The result is that it provided the greatest
drum solo I've ever watched live my life. And consider that I watch shows from the end of the decade 80. The only things I did not like is
that it was a short show (just over seventy minutes) and the version of Round Midnight I considered bland. But the rest made up with leftovers.

As always, I urge patience for all of you because my connection is not a wonder, but in a few hours the first download will be ready and henceforth the thing will flow better.
