Jean-Paul Bourelly is the Jimi Hendrix of the new century. He is
acclaimed the best interpreter of Jimi`s music world wide. Born in Chicago
he also has a very deep Blues sound combined with a rough and noisy approach
to this music, which gives him a very unique position in the music business.
He also works with Rap-Music and styles of heavy Funk and Rock. It is a great
experience to see this man working on stage. He also was the co-founder of the
Black Rock Coalition in NYC in the 80`s. He worked with so different musicians
as Pharoah Sanders and Elvin Jones or McCoy Tyner on one side and Vernon Reid
from Living Colour, Noise legend Elliott Sharp or the Rappers from D-Nice,
which he produced as well as the legendary Cassandra Wilson. He cooperated with
Cindy Blackman from Lenny Kravitz as well as with Rolling Stones Bass man Darryl Jones
or with Blues legend Taj Mahal.
Bass legend Melvin Gibbs is well known through his cooperation in the bands of Henry Rollins or Arto Lindsay.
He is very connected to electronic music and uses a lot of sounds on stage.
Dont miss this highlight!
