Jeff Archer - The Codex Apocrypha (2012)
"The Codex Apocrypha" is a concept album that instrumentally details the beginning, duration, and aftermath of the end of the world. "The Codex Apocrypha" was my
contribution to the 2012 RPM Challenge. The RPM Challenge is an internet challenge in which an artist or band is encouraged to write and record 10 songs or
35 minutes of original material during the month of February.
All of the instrumentation on "The Codex Apocrypha" was performed and recorded by myself at my home studio in Detroit, MI in February of 2012. The instruments used on
"The Codex Apocrypha" consisted of 6 and 12 string acoustic and electric guitars, piano, Moog synthesizer, Mellotron, and various prepared tapes.
