Sony WMD-3 cassette deck (dolby off) >
Maxell XLII-S cassette > soundforge 4.5 >
CD > CD extractor > FLAC 6 > torrent. Not a
"3 step torrent" with the CD and extractor
lineage but still a first time master seed
that is Glasnost Radio Production certified
gapless/glitchless/pegless and clipless. So
it sounds like a 3 step torrent from me, and
that's the idea. It is still a 3 step for you.

comments:
Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble opened this show. They put on a good
show too (as usual for SRV), but unfortunately this was my 1st recording using
a Sony D-3 and I did not get the Stevie Ray set, partly because I was trying
to figure out how to use an unfamiliar deck (in the dark) in time to not mess
up the Beck show, and that was successful. I got it all, no problems or
cuts, and it came out well. The sound in the Centrum may be the best sounding
hockey rink concert arena I've heard. SRV comes out for the "going down"
encore with Beck. I was about halfway back, right side of stage about 5 or 6
rows of seats back from the floor. A good spot, not alot of crowd noise, and
all the instruments are clearly heard. Good solid show from Jeff Beck and Co.
I love Terry Bozzio's drumming, thus am upping all my masters with him
included (eventually). This is my only Jeff Beck master that I recorded.
Guess I missed the boat with Jeff a little bit, but even though I don't
know his song titles worth * I like alot of his music. This was the
"Guitar Shop" tour, not one of my JB favorites but some of that was pretty
good in this show, plus some older songs. Not the "greatest hits of Jeff
Beck" show this time, if it was I'd have some sort of a setlist. This was
my third Jeff Beck show, and I enjoyed all of them. (never seen Eric
Clapton, and unless it was with Blind Faith, I'd rather hear Jeff anyway.)
I will have Jeff's 95 Great Woods show up again soon, a hot show and very nice
recording from master aud. First I must empty Bertha's swelling harddrive
bellyful of early spring uploads. Bertha has been overhauled and is now Bertha
III, ready to fill your ears with some master seed world premieres.
do not sell this recording.
Trade freely and losslessly.
