Jeff Beck Live At The LA Sports Center, Los Angeles California 1989-12-01 2nd Gen AUD tape, full show (mp3 sample included)

Again, many thanks to Dime member spencer1 for the source material.

Clocking in at a mere 71 minutes, you would have it that this could not be the entire show. But according to "The Golden Road" website (to which I am indebted for help - without it a setlist could not have been provided) these tracks are all that were performed.

This show has a nice, warm big-hall sound. It certainly is a more frenetic pick of tracks to perform in concert. Mr. Beck as usual outdoes himself.

Setlist:

Savoy
Guitar Shop
Sling Shot
Big Block
Behind The Veil
Freeway Jam
Where Were You
Stand On It
Goodbye Pork Pie Hat
Two Rivers
Day In The House
Train Kept A Rollin'
Blue Wind
People Get Ready
Going Down

Technical notes and sarcasm department: The source cassette tape was damaged. The glue from the leader at the end of side A had ripped the first few inches of tape right off the spool. The tape was dismantled, the leader was removed, and the tape was rethreaded and attached to the core directly. Fortunately, no portion of music got damaged. Fortunately the shell screws were genuine and the cassette housing came apart. Don't try this at home or on a casual basis, and certainly don't try it on your lap. You say your cassette housing doesn't have screws? Buddy, YOU may be screwed! You can try: A)an old soldering pencil on the heat weld (that smell's poisonous, btw), B) a minature file on the heat weld, or my favorite C) ripping the cassette open like a gorilla, spilling the contents on the floor, letting your pet play with it, picking up the pieces, opening your son's/daughter's/sibling's prized William Shatner In Concert cassette (that they play every day and you *can't stand*) and finally winding the pieces of your tape into it with a pencil. Won't they be surprised to hear Kaptain Kirk sounding like early Skinny Puppy!

Wow, huh?

Enjoy!
