Notes:

This was an interesting show. Santana opened for Jeff Beck. Not a real crossover crowd there. Santana played the usual great set, and the spinners and deadheads in the crowd gave a warm welcome. Once Santana finished...and then Jeff Beck came on, many folks in the crowd left in droves...Jeff Beck was just not their cup of tea, I guess. We had some issues with recording the Santana set, I left some of the taping duties to friends of mine who ended up being clueless as to how to manage the gear.... This was a wierd taping setup. I had this big clip that clipped onto the seats at deer creek, and attached to the clip were goosenecks that held the mics. On this recording you can hear the goosenecks being adjusted during the show...they were just shy of being strong enough to hold the mics in a steady position. Aside from this distraction, the show is live and loud, Jeff Beck at Deer Creek. Thanks to Brion for the transfer and mastering.

- This is a very nice, full sounding show. There are really no major points
to draw attention to, a few spots you can hear greg adjusting the mic, but
those are very minimal. A very loud and energetic show. Greg did an excellent
job at capturing this! The setlist is a close guess (I'm not real familiar with
the material) so excuse any mistakes please. Thanks to Jerryrocks for the
assistance. All tape flips crossfaded, plugin and eq'ed to flavor. Enjoy.
