comments:
this is the last of the 4 latest contributions to the cause of Beckness
from Stratcat58. (the other 3 are Beck/Stewart Boston 5/69, Beck Bogart Appice
in Paris 73 and this group in San Diego 76). This is slightly better quality
than the San Diego show and pretty much a let's skip the cheese and just rock out
show (partly because it's not one of the longer shows). Longer is not always better
with Jeff Beck concerts. This is not the end of the Beckness from me yet. Just
the end of the stratcat contributions this time around. I still have one more
from this group to come in a few weeks time and another that joins a set in progress just
before Jeff joins them (not this band). There must be a few folks with this show,
and I have told those who ask me to upload shows that from now on, I will only upload
2nd or lower generation from analog source recordings, but this show is not very widely
circulated and it is a pretty decent recording. Not the best of this tour, but
pretty typical quality I'd say for alot of 76 Beck recordings. A sound sample is attached
for you to decide with your own ears whether this is worth the DL. Enjoy the beckness...
and do not sell this recording.
Trade freely and losslessly.
(a "lossy" 3rd gen. aud from the 70's isn't worth buying anyway)
