*not included in the broadcast due to an apparent PA technical issue, as someone who attended
the show informed on viachicago.org
**Also not on the broadcast, most likely due to the fact that Jeff Tweedy never uses the PA
on the closing song of any of his solo shows, making the song inaudible to a radio listener.
The band on this tour and on this recording consists of:
Jeff Tweedy-Guitar, lead vocals
Jim Elkington-Guitar
Darin Gray-Bass
Liam Cunningham-Keyboards
WXRT FM in Chicago broadcast this with the help of Wilco's managment, who sent an offical
soundboard recording of this show to WXRT to broadcast the night of Saturday July 12th, 2014. This is
the same night in which TWEEDY, Jeff Tweedy's new project, which included his Son Spencer on
drums, was scheduled to appear at the Taste of Chicago. This concert, as well as the taste
itself, was canceled for the entire day, due to bad weather and flooding in Grant Park. This
was Wilco's last-minute solution to make sure both the fans who had tickets to the canceled
show, as well as WXRT, who was supposed to broadcast the tasteshow live, both got something
good out of a bad situation. The first 14 songs from this setlist are completly new Jeff
Tweedy songs that will be released on his new "solo" project, titled "Sukierae," that will be
coming out in September 2014. the band is called just "Tweedy," b/c the bulk of the work on
the abum was done by Jeff and his son Spencer on drums. Scott McCaughey of the Minus
Five/R.E.M. also contributed keyboards to the album.
