The first night of the tour. A small venue about 30 miles north of Edinburgh, and pretty much sold out. The only gig I've ever heard the band false start two songs. That said, it was drummer Richard's first gig with the band, and only about the sixth for guitarist Jude. (PK's guitar tech Paul lamb was also relatively new to the job. And I'll put in a big nod to Mr Lamb here, who was one of my travelling companions for the tour and a thoroughly decent chap.) Additionally since everybody in the band except Richard had played a gig in California on Saturday night, gone to the airport on Sunday morning and caught flights to Sciotland, arriving Monday morning, I suspect there was still a bit of jetlag kicking around for this Tuesday night show.
Still, it was a reasonable beginning and a fun show.
This is one of the shows that benefitted from a bit more audience in the mix than most, so it's 65% sbd/35% aud.
