Show 2 of the tour and we've moved on to Edinburgh, and more precisely the Queen's Hall, a former Georgian chapel. The venue has a curved back wall, and fixed seating in a horseshoe shape, with the front and centre of the auditorium being for standing room. (There's a reasonable picture of the interior at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:The_Queen%27s_Hall_Wideshot_%28credit_Alastair_Wight%29.jpg but for the JS gig there were no orange and red tables and chairs, just open space.) As well as the usual UK support of Auburn, we were also treated to a set by the Pat McManus Band, which alas I didn't catch so can't report on. Only the downstairs area was open for the show, so using my band access I was able to set up my mic for "audience" recording gear in the front centre of the balcony upstairs, well clear of any noisy chatterers :-) It was a decent crowd, and also a show that got a couple of good reviews in the Scottish press (if you didn't see them at the time they are at http://www.scotsman.com/edinburgh-evening-news/latest-news/gig-review-jefferson-starship-queen-s-hall-1-2568361 and http://www.heraldscotland.com/arts-ents/music/jefferson-starship-queens-hall-edinburgh.19121979
