Notes:
Cool new venue with good sound, at least in the lower levels of the balcony.
They did a great job dealing with reverb in a giant steel A-frame. There are
also small repeaters above the balcony, but those were almost directly overhead
in my seat, so I don't think I picked much up from them.
The WXRT plug was about 25 minutes before Jenny's set began, but I included it
since I thought it was interesting. Marty said the band was at the WXRT studio
for a short set on 7-5-23, but I don't know whether it was broadcast/recorded.
The same goes for this show. I'm keeping my ear out for if they were/when they
are.
The sustain pedal for Jenny's keyboard wasn't working at the start of "Heads
Gonna Roll", so the song was quickly stopped and the issue fixed before starting
again. Other than that the band played very tight together and looked to be
enjoying themselves. The crowd is a little chatty, but not so much near me.
