In early 1982, I was working at an Albuquerque record store called Merlin's Workshop.
The store catered to record collectors, and we mostly stocked rare and out-of-print
records, but we also had a steady market for bootlegs. At the time, I was collecting
pretty much any live recordings I could get my hands on, including buying as many of
the bootleg titles as I could afford.

This recording came into my hands when one of my bootleg customers happened to mention
that he knew someone who had recorded this concert. He had a 1st generation copy of
the tape, and he loaned it to me. I copied his tape from my Nakamichi cassette deck to
a ReVox A77 reel-to-reel with an Advent 100A Dolby processor at 3.75 ips. Over a year
ago, I transcribed the recording to CD-R, using an HHB 830 Standalone. I sent the CD
to TheNewGuy for mastering (along with a bunch of other tapes), but I burned a copy
for backup. TheNewGuy hasn't had a lot of free time to work on the tapes, so I decided
to take a crack at mastering this show using my backup.

This is my very first attempt at mastering. Until now, I've been afraid I'd screw it
up, but I decided to face my fear and go for it. I ripped the CD with EAC, and
loaded the raw file into CD Wave, tracked the show and removed a couple of silences.
Nothing else has been done to the recording.

Sound quality of this recording is below any of my previous uploads. I don't know what
mics or recorder were used, but I know that they were CHEAP!! The recording is boomy,
and there is some distortion, mostly tape saturation and/or limiter effects. It's not
terrible, but I would rate it as fair quality. I am posting a sample in the comments
so you can make your own decision before downloading. To my knowledge, this has never
been circulated.

I've probably got most of the titles wrong, but here's my best attempt at a setlist:

01. Intro/Tuneup
02. Songbird (drop-out from 2:39 - 2:43)
03. Stage banter
04. Song For Juli
05. Fire On The Water
06. Do It Slow (Play It Slow?)
07. A Long Night's Coming Fast
08. Young Man's Dream
09. Here We Go Again
10. Cajun Medley
a. ???
b. Jambalaya (On The Bayou)
11. Get Together
12. Encore Break - Crowd
13. Imagine (w/Jackson Browne)

Personnel:

Jesse Colin Young - Vocals, Guitar, (Piano?)
Suzy Young - Vocals
Scott Lawrence - Keyboards, Backing Vocals

As always, corrections are welcome. In this case, there are probably a lot.

Enjoy the show,
