JETHRO TULL 04-06-72 Maple Leaf Garden, Toronto, Canada - 2CD - (Aud Low Remastered)
1972-06-04

Lineage: low generation audience tape -> audio CD -> EAC -> Sound Forge (TheTooleMan) -> FLAC

Performance: GREAT!
Audio quality: Pretty damn good
Art: clever, and created by some fishy character other than myself

The CD audio version runs fast and sounds like the tape was recorded with Dolby B ON but played back with Dolby OFF. With a little tinkering, I was able to kill a bunch of the excessive hiss without losing the high frequencies. No "noise reduction" was applied in this remaster.

There were a couple of cuts in the tape, and I patched one - the end of "News and Weather" - from another show, but it's only a few seconds long. A cut in the drum solo was spliced out on the beat.

The encore tracks are missing entirely from this recording. A recording of the first part of the encore apparently exists, but it ends during Locomotive Breath. Since I only have a version of the longer program that was remastered in 2002, with too much noise reduction, I've left it out here. If you have the longer version of the show, please share it.

And now, here's a news flash (boom!)...
