This one hasn't circulated very much.
In fact, it's set list is not even there at the Ministry of Information.

THE RECORDING

Not the greatest, by any stretch

THIS NEEDS TO BE REMASTERED !!!!

Unfortunately remastering is beyond my ability.
Anyone out there willing and able to give it shot?
If someone would like to tackle the job that would be FANTASTIC,
as long as you share it with us all when you're done.

It could use (at least)
1 - speed correction (especially the second half of the show
-- I checked the tape on 3 machines - all fast).
2 - Maybe some equalization could pry out the decent sound that may be locked inside.
3 - There is a nasty volume jump (louder) in the drum solo.

--------------------------------
THE SONGS

01 Passion Play Pt. 1 [21:32]
02 Forest Dances and The Hare Who Lost his Spectacles [06:29]
03 Passion Play Pt. 2 [15:55]
04 Thick as a Brick Intro [00:32]
05 Thick as a Brick - The Middle Bit [23:10]
06 Cross-Eyed Mary [03:35]
07 No Rehearsal [02:24]
08 Drum Solo [06:19]
09 Improv and Quote [04:05]
10 Aqualung [06:44]

total time 1:30:45

This may be incomplete.
They might have played Wind Up and Locomotive Breath as an encore.
The beginning of this tour has a confusing history (http://www.ministry-of-information.co.uk/app/live.htm) and no recordings exist of this early part of the tour - excepting the much-bootlegged Hampton, VA show where they did NOT play WU and LB.
So, unless a more complete version of this show turns up we'll never know if they played an encore.
Was anyone out there at this show and is your memory intact?

--------------------------------
THE BAND

Ian Anderson - acoustic guitar, flute, soprano sax, vocals
Martin Barre - electric guitar
Jeffrey Hammond - bass and voice
John Evans - various keyboards
Barrie Barlow - drums, percussion

LINEAGE

audience > cassette to me (unknown generation) > digitize and tracking via Audacity > FLAC via xAct > to you on DIME

I removed a bit of hiss and took out some silences (half a second at most) between songs where it sounded like the recorder turned off his machine during applause

HEY GANG:
I offer what I have, with ALL the information known to me.
If you've got a better version, seed it.
If you have more accurate information, please add it in a comment.
If anyone would like to attempt a remastering job, go right ahead.

Let's try and keep it positive and make DIME as good an experience for all as possible.
