THE PERFORMANCE:

For their first ever "acoustic-only" performance the boys play quite
nicely. Ian in perfect voice, oh the good ole days. They are such
accomplished musicians they have no fear with only a microphone between
them and the audience. Very nice versions of these songs and one of the
only acoustic versions of Heavy Horses ever (I think) and a pretty cool
truncated arrangement of it, even though Ian did forget one lyric in it,
which is a rare event for him. It is also rumoured the boys did an acoustic
session for MTV sometime in the early 1980's. Anyone have that?

THE SOUND (additional edits by ninjadave):

OK FM sound. Not perfect but very listenable. It was kinda muted but that
has been corrected with some volume bump and channel balancing. I also
did some cleaning of various noise, clicks and bumps. No EQ or noise
reduction was used (some hiss is apparent but that is understandable based
upon its age). There was also some occasional mic distortion (thuddy emphasis
of certain syllables) and I repaired those when possible. Dropping the bass
will help with these on playback as well. Overall, this is much improved
from the original version I had.

THE LINEAGE:

FM > tape (unknown # of generations) > CD-r > FLAC 8 via xAct

I got this in trade and have not seen it active here or at TTD and if
it was posted sometime long ago, I, nor anyone else doesn't give a fuck so
don't bother pointing it out (you know who you are).
