Due to an unforeseen wardrobe malfunction (a broken strap on the bag which I normally wear around my neck to hold the recorder),
I had to improvise and ended up recording the whole gig with the recorder on my knee, pointing up towards the PA,
hidden under a plastic bag "acquired" from the merch stand.
In retrospect, using a plastic bag wasn't the greatest choice - there are occasional rustling and popping noises when I moved my
hand slightly, most notably at the start of each set as I'm getting myself sorted.
On the whole though, if you can ignore the occasional pesky "sound effects" (mostly no worse than pops on a vinyl album, really),
this came out better than I expected and sounds pretty good, even if I do say so myself.
