Jethro Tull,

I didn't attend this concert but I received the original raw wav file from a friend who asked me to work on it. He said it was OK to share it so here it is. He recorded it from the back of the hall using a Sony digital recorder: I think it turned out quite well also thanks to the good acoustics of the place.

One of the first shows of the new tour which is set to continue in March. Some of the setlist is the same as the previous tour but there are some interesting new additions including two rarely heard tracks from "Stormwatch". I'm kind of surprised they aren't playing more from "The Zealot Gene" as those songs would probably sound good done by this incarnation, as demonstrated by the three numbers included in the setlist. The performance itself is not a bad one: Anderson's flute playing is still spot on and new guitar player Joe Parrish sounds confident in his role, although maybe a little less so when he sings background vocals. On the other hand, the singing is the same as it has been for ages now, the arrangements have been simplified and, unfortunately, Ian didn't play acoustic guitar at all! In short, you already know from the start whether you want this or not.
