Jimi Hendrix

NEW YORK TIMES

(JPIO-II 087-089 / 08.06.2005 / 3CDR)

This is a 3CD compilation of studio outtakes.

Although there's no information regarding the origin or exact lineage for this material, there's no doubt these are
very low gen recordings. Whether or not they are upgrades of what's already out there has
not been determined, but these are allegedly "CD copies of source tapes" - for what
that's worth. The worst case scenario is: A nice compilation of readily available material
in excellent quality. Index marks have been inserted and some minor rapairs (removal of
digital pops/clicks during non-musical passages) have been done, but otherwise the
recordings have been left as is.
