Notes: What we have here is a merge of two audience recording of Hendrix's final gig. Each channel presents a separate source, so the the listener gets a stereo experience. Someone sent this to me years ago, maybe even pre-Audacity, possibly done by Thomas G. It's an interesting listen, with the two recordings providing streo depth. We also have a complete Purple Haze and Voodoo Child (Slight Return), which were cut on the two recordings, but made whole here. At the beginning, we hear a backstage argument between Hendrix road manager Gerry Stickles and concert promoters. The promosters wanted Jimi to go on, Gerry says no way given the storm that hit the area. Hendrix appears the next day late morning, but the fans boo initially, upset they had to wait.
