Here we go, this was a tricky show to divvy up so things would be in chronological order
and for the most part it is in the order in which things actually played out onstage with
the exception of the Randy Hansen set which was long enough to be on disc by itself, that
said the rest of the show fit's nicely onto three more discs two here, one more in the final
upload.

Show starts off with a little intro by by Chaz Depaulo, lead guitarist for Leon Hendrix at
this show who gives big props to David Kramer for his never ending devotion to the late Jimi
Hendrix, while still working on his monumental Hendrix documentary he still finds time to do
the annual birthday celebration at B.B. King's in New York City.

Jimi's brother Leon, who is not trying to be compared to Jimi by any means, is just trying to
express his love of Jimi and music with his own tribute in his own way, and just trying to get
paid like everyone else, these guys put on an entertaining show to get the juices flowing.

Next up are the Ducks Can Groove from Sweden who are a force to be reckoned with, these guys
are a retro psychedelic flavored band who are big in Europe for their mesmerizing tribute to
Jimi Hendrix, recreating some of the infamous guitar work that Jimi is famous for and it was
great to see them play some of that stuff live.

After a couple of tunes, guitarist Stefan Edfeldt introduces the first of several special
guests, Woodstock alumni Juma Sultan comes out to play bongos for a couple of tunes but what
really stands out with this set is these guys play Jimi's unfinished guitar masterpiece the
infamous "Valleys Of Neptune", never fully realized or played live while Jimi was doin' his
thing and these guys with the help of vocalist Eliot Brown manage to pull off a fabulous take
on this would be gem, to be followed up by the legendary "Machine Gun".

Some fantastic guitar work here by the Swedish "Hendrix" Stefan Edfelt, as he really is quite
good at recreating that magic that Jimi brought during the live shows, a band to keep a look
out for in the future.

New York guitarist, Andre Lassalle who assumed the role of musical director at this show,is an
unusually gifted guitarist by the way of style as he manages to play much throughout the show
at every moment he can between bands sprinkling his magic fretwork at the crowd to their delight.

Not before long, another special guest is introduced as another Woodstock alumni Jerry Velez is
greeted by a very responsive crowd, to sit in on bongos.

Another local New York guitarist Dave Frye comes up onstage to play a very melodic version of
"Waterfall" inspired by Andre Lassalle's praise about certain sounds we like to hear.

Next up onstage is Pat Stanfield Jones, who has made a rep for himself playing with the Isley
Bros, as well as Buddy Miles and they decide to play an old Isley Bros tune Jimi would play
before he went out on his own called "Testify", then finishes up with a nice take on the rare
and hardly played "Night Bird Flyin".

Ducks Can Groove play Jimi's classic "Fire" with plenty of it and the set closes with "Angel"
with special guest Mikel Banks on vocal's and Andre Lassalle on sweet guitar.

What i liked most about the show was these guys playing stuff you rarely hear live, and they
played it with such feeling and emotion, great show here folks.

Fantastic performances and sweet audience recording as well !
