Lineage; 1st gen cassette tape - Cool edit - Flac via Traders little helper

Changes made (Nero 7):
Nero NR from a great noise print at the end of track 03
Nero autohum reduction, then selective 100Hz hum filter
Fixed the phase shift between left and right channels
Reduced right channel by 3% to centre stereo image

Flac > Nero > Flac Frontend (level 6)

Quality: Worth an A++ now

A great recording, but marred by high FM hiss and "birdies", plus annoying hum, so I got
to work with Nero and now virtually all the noise and a fair amount of the hum (any more
reduction affected the music dynamics) are now gone.

The by product is that dynamic punch and clarity of the instruments are also improved,
plus the decay of at the end of notes can now be heard, resulting overall now in a superb
listen.

Whilst this has lain on my HD for a while ready for posting, I upgraded recently to the
latest Nero version which allows very fine phase adjustment, which gives a further big
improvement to the sound and music dynamics (especially voice and bass).

So now with the encouragement of original poster 'golfspel', and of course the
presence of the late great Tom Cora (credited originally as Django Bates!) ....
