ANY USEFUL NOTES: review, internet link, etc.

The Chandler tapes were - as the name suggests - studio tapes that were in the posession of Hendrix' former manager Chas Chandler. In the mid 1980's he got Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell (plus some others) in re-record / overdub some of the tracks, probably for a possible release, but it never materialized. The tapes first became known to the public when they were released on a bootleg called "Studio Haze" in the early 1990s, and were later reissued several times on various other bootlegs.

Note that "Room full of Mirrors" and "Shame, shame, shame" originally were played as one track, but have been divided into 2 tracks here (as on the "Studio Haze" bootleg); This is the reason for the fade out/fade in.
