Guitarist Eric Gales is a uniquely gifted musician who can cut heads with
the best of em out there, his lightning quick solos are quite obvious to
see, his tone is killer and must be heard but above and beyond all the hype
is a guitarist who's style is metaphorically the offspring of many differant
genre's from rock to blues to funk & metal. What you get when you listen to
Eric varies from song to song, at times Albert King is quite evident but at
times you can hear all his other heroes like Jimi Hendrix & Stevie Ray or
Frank Marino and even Robin Trower, especially during his solo's you can
surely hear modern great Eric Johnson.

What's been said about Eric is that he's a cut above other guitarist's that
he brings it to the next level or the real deal, however you choose to say
it, Eric Gales is one of the most exciting, dynamic gifted players out there
today !

This was not my first time seeing Eric Gales, so i kind of knew what to expect
but this Hendrix project surely seemed interesting in itself, and after a long
10 year absence in New York City Eric was back and humbly expressed his gratitude
to be back in such great company and promised to thrill the crowd with all he had
to offer which was plenty of kick ass guitar playin.

About the show...

Eric started off the show with a couple of songs of his latest release called
"Relentless", which is a proper title for it since his playin has never been better,
what you hear is the genius at work an offering of originals that showcase that Eric
is so unique by sound alone, his singing and songwriting here show how much he has
grown as an artist.

The rest of the show is exactly what you may expect of Eric Gales doing a Jimi Hendrix
tribute, not a note for note display of guitar fireworks, but taking the original to the
next level as they say, making it feel brand new.

This show also features some guest performances from guitarist's Tomo Fujita, Jimi Hazel
as well as drummer Swiss Chris.
