about four weeks ago somebody put up a request regarding this concert

now, a month later our current stream of JC shows reminded me of it and since nobody
has yet come up with anything (although some offers were made) I thought I take the opportunity

anyway, I went to see this show, one of my earliest reggae concerts and until today still one of the best

it was sort of a mini festival, with four acts performing

the night started with a group called TWELVE DRUMMERS DRUMMING, the PRINCE CHARLES
& THE CITY BEAT BAND followed, before CHALICE started the reggae section with CLIFF taking
the headliner position

it was about 10 pm when he entered the stage...later we found out that he had already
given another show earlier that night in switzerland...yet that did not stop him from dashing out
another 2 1/2 hour set

the seed here unfortunatley only covers the first 100 minutes, it was then (midnight)
when the radio station stopped its coverage so songs like "Vietnam", "Wonderful World"
or a second version of "Reggae Night" are missing

still I believe you get an amazing performance in a very very good quality, it's off a second generation
copy of the master tape the father of a friend of mine recorded that night while we were there live

the fades you'll encounter were necessary to edit out news coverage...you might even hear a few german MC words

on the original tape "Third World People" is split in half (45 minute tape flip)...I used editing software and
fades to set it as one track
