This show is dedicated to the memory of Rinus van Heukelum, who was a great Jimmy LaFave lover.

Sylvia's Show Notes:
Just one day after the more than sold out show at In The Woods (when tickets went on sale it was sold out in one hour, yours truly was one of the lucky people) I saw Jimmy LaFave again at the Paradiso. Originally this show was scheduled for Bitterzoet, which holds 350 people. Also that show was sold out. Then a few days before the show the act that was scheduled to play in Paradiso's main hall was postponed, so Jimmy was moved to the Paradiso and more tickets became available. The last time he played at the Paradiso was in 2008, in the much smaller upstairs room.

Hard to say which show I liked best. Right after the In The Woods show I said that was the show of the year. The setlists of the two shows were not the same. The band was tight, Glenn Schuetz and Bobby Kallus forming a strong rhythm section. About one month ago I had seen Chip Dolan with Sam Baker. He impressed me on that occasion, this show he impressed me even more.
