Jimmy LaFave never disapoints; this show was no exception. I have seen him with Radoslav
Lorkovic on keys and with Chip Dolan on keys. I absolutely prefer Radoslav; he adds to the show.
And John Inmon on guitar is just stellar, even though after the show he said he was not satisfied.
The audience was.

It was a long drive to Rotterdam on a late, rainy, Friday afternoon. Heavy traffic with many traffic jams.
I was glad I left home early as I had expected this, so I arrived on time to claim a seat (the venue
is part seated/part standing). By pure chance I had a seat in the row where also the soundboard is
located, so the sound was very good. What more can I say, let the samples be your guide.

After the show I bought a CD and stood in line for Jimmy to sign it. I told him I always read his
posts on Facebook about animal rights and I thanked him for it and for being a vegetarian.
He asked me if I was a vegetarian as well (I am) and for how long (over 30 years). He told he had been
since he was 11 years. For me all the reason more to love the man.

Then I had to wait again for somebody of the venue to show up to sell me an exit card for the garage.
I had to cross the center of Rotterdam and was glad I was finally on the motorway to Amsterdam, expecting
to be home soon. Wishful thinking: at midnight I was in a traffic jam which costed me an extra
hour.
As usual I woke up early, so it was a short night. Oh well, no shows till Monday, so I'll survive.
