Jimmy LaFave Band
Blue Highways Music Fest
Vredenburg (large hall)
Utrecht, Netherlands
23 April 2011
This is a mix of 2 audience recordings:
- source 1: CA14 (cardiods)-> CA-9100-> Edirol R-09HR (44.1kHz/16bit), recorded by scdegraaf
- source 2: Kenwood mgr-a7 w/internal mics (44.1kHz/16bit), recorded by 49tons
The 2 sources complement each other nicely: my recording had more ambience and 49ton's recording sounded clearer.
Mixed in Audacity by scdegraaf

This is the second installment of the festival recordings. I recorded:
- Boris McCutcheon
- Matt the Electrician (currently on the tracker)
- Brian Webb
- Jimmy LaFave Band
- American Aquarium
49tons also recorded Boris McCutcheon and American Aquarium. He also recorded Frazey Ford.
Jimmy LaFave had come over especially for this festival, it was his only show in Europe.
It was a show by a well oiled machine, without sounding like a routine.
The solos by Radoslav Lorkoviv and Richard Feridun were loudly applauded by the appreciative audience.
No time was wasted talking between songs, Jimmy performed one song after the other in the limited time he had.
Jimmy LaFave- vocals, acoustic guitar
Richard Feridun- electric guitar
Glenn Schuetz- bass
Robert Kallus- drums
Radoslav Lorkovic- keyboards, harmonica
