ORIGINAL NOTES:
The sound quality of this recording is "aud vg" in my opinion. The sound quality is not as good as either of the two Page Outrider shows recently shared by Datfly - but I'm comparing this to the EXCELLENT Uniondale show and another pretty exc. recording - Troy. BUT... this show is good-listenin' stuff pahdnah!!!
The highlight of the show is "Over The Hills And Far Away" in which Jimmy does the most SONIC solo that I've ever heard him do. This, IMO, is the best version that exists... Despite the fact that some ***hole stops the intro by setting firecrackers off (Jimmy says "...don't be a crack..."). Then he picks up right where he had left off. There weren't any more firecrackers till after "Stairway..." - the last song of the night - ensuring that there wouldn't be a third encore. There probably wouldn't have been another anyway.
Also, "Writes Of Winter" was the most memorable song from the night for me, but obviously you can make your own calls.
This show is a favorite in a vast collection - I hope you like it too.

This torrent was made from the original tapes that were recorded the evening of Thursday, September 8, 1988 at the Miami Knight Center. The device was a SONY Walkman D3 with the microphone that came with it - no model number.
It was a general admission ticket (labeled "The Outsider [sic] Tour") and the three of us sat third row in the balcony, viewing the band slightly to our right.
It took three tape sides to record the show (tracks labeled "101." for track 1 on the first side etc.) and happily no music was lost - all the tape changes took place in the lulls between songs. It doesn't always work out that way.
I tracked-out the band leaving/returning to the stage as well as the three of us leaving the venue because it's the only way that you can be certain that you got the WHOLE show. Just delete it if you're not into realism.
The tape was uploaded via Adobe Audition 1.5 and the first two tape sides were amplified by 3dB (after consulting with the forum first). The last tape side was not changed at all. It was tracked out in Adobe also and saved as WAV files. It was converted to FLAC with FlacFrontend level 8 and a fingerprint file is enclosed.
