Notes: Jimmy Page playing in Oakland 20 years ago today, and it was 11 years after Zep's last U.S. show in Oakland. Zep's gig was at the outdoor stadium, this one was held at the adjacent indoor arena. Standard "Outrider" tour date, quite enjoyable with Jimmy playing really well. A bit hard to hear his stage remarks, he's always been a bit of a mumblemouth, but his guitar more than makes up for it. He really has great control of the guitar on "Wanna Make Love" you can almost see this as a Zep tune if they had continued. Jason Bonham on drums on this one. John Miles does quite well with the vocals too. I recorded this from the side of the stage, stage right.
