I bought this record circa 1979 from Pied Piper Records, a bootleg dealer that used to advertise
in the back of "Rolling Stone". I don't believe for an instant that it's the real deal, I'm sure
it's a counterfeit, but the quality isn't too bad. There's definitely some crackle, but it's not
particularly objectionable.

I did manually remove quite a few nasty pops in the last minute or so of "Cool Blue". Sometimes you
can tell where it was done, sometimes you can't. For the last few seconds I just let Cool Edit 2000's
noise reduction module take over--the pops were too numerous and frequent. I was worried that it
would really screw things up, but in fact it did a pretty reasonable job.

Based on how often it's mentioned on web sites, this seems to be a pretty well-known release and
there are several people out there offering MP3 versions. Despite its apparent popularity
amongst fans, I can't find any reference to any past, current or future general releases of the
album or even a single track from it. My copy is the only one I've ever actually seen in the
real world.
