Opening for Bob Dylan & Carlos Santana

Lineage :
1rst génération cassette>Ads tech instant music>soundforge 7.0>wave>normalize

The recording :
Sound : B-/C , audience recording with some problems but still very listenable.
- The master cassette is definitely dead so I use a 1rst generation copy, the cassette has slept more than 20 years in a shoebox....
- a little tape hiss but not too disturbing (at least for my taste)
- speed fluctuations on t01 "me and Bobby Mc Gee" , a jump at the end of t14 " let it be"
- tape flip between" the boxer" and "let it be".

The show :
It was on a rainy day with a very noisy crowd, speaking, shouting while waiting for Dylan to come. So you can hear it on the recording.
Joan stopped singing twice during "Me and Bobby Mc Gee" to speak with people, asked them to stay quiet and not to throw bottles.

Joan introduce the songs in french.
It's a typical setlist for the early 80's with two french songs.

As far as I remember, it's the complete Joan's performance.

setlist :
01- Me & Bobby Mc Gee 4'26"
02- Love is just a 4-letter word 2'50"
03- Oh, freedom 3'08"
04- Jari Yahamouda 2'29"
05- Intro to the children of the 80s 2'35"
06- The children of the 80s 4'12"
07- Gracias a la vida 4'49"
08- A tous les enfants 3'06"
09- Prendre un enfant 3'54"
10- No woman, no cry 3'19"
11- Here's to you 2'57"
12- The boxer 4'02"
13- Crowd's applause 1'09"
14- Let it be 3'17"
15- Land of 1000 dances 3'15"

total time : 49'36"

So, it's a far from perfect recording as you can understand it, maybe it's for Joan's addicts and for my Baezfans companions.
Riket's artwork included.

This one is for Yaél.

Enjoy !
