Joan mostly speaks in french between the songs but with english words in it, funny.

A very nice intro and rendition of "sweet sir Galahad", maybe the most beautiful song written by Joanie, for her sister Mimi.

Joan's talk before "plaisir d'amour" : "it's an experiment, j'ai pas chanté cette chanson depuis je sais pas combien de temps....... ......longer than you think".

Joan Baez
Live at the FNAC Italiens
5-5-1993

Two days before the "Casino de Paris" show, Joan gave a short free gig at the FNAC Italiens .
FNAC Italiens is a record shop near the Paris Opera, you can hear people coming and going during the Joan's set.
Joan arrived at the end of the afternoon, she sang 4 songs in front of thirty persons and signed CDs.
I was there with my wife and my daughter and after the set she signed me some Cds and the copy of the book "le lever du jour" (daybreak) which I have brought with me.
When she saw the book she said "Oh my god, le lever du jour !, I was a baby when I wrote it" then she signed on the page...beautiful souvenir.

Here's the tracks :

4- Play me backwards
5- Strange rivers
6- Diamonds and rust
7- I'm with you

I've made an artwork included in the torrent.

enjoy !
