Realizing the pre-show canned music was 100% instrumental Grateful Dead
covers, I guessed that Gabe Harris would be part of the band. It seemed
fitting that Gabe did a drum solo. Joan and Grace sported "Nasty Woman"
t-shirts, and Dirk and Gabe had "Bad Hombre" t-shirts. Kris
Kristofferson came out for the first encore and sat at the piano bench,
hence the repeat of "Me And Bobby McGee". (From where I sat I could not
see his hands, and I could not hear piano in the mix.) Kris had a smile
on his face, good to see him. Joan and the band had a good time, and so
did the audience.
