Recording / Performance Notes:

The two time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee and former West Covina resident came to L.A. to play to a capacity
crowd at Jimmy Kimmel Live. The diminutive "Queen of Punk" donned her classic Gibson Melody Maker and played a
rather fitting short but sweet set of two new tracks and four huge classics. She looked and sounded f*cking amazing!!!
I decided to stack tape this from the right side PA in order to minimize the crowd. The same vantage point I took
for Soundgarden. A very respectable pull from my vantage point. That being said, I had to suit up rather quickly as
I almost had to "strip down" to my skivies for the walk-thru detector. Holy shit! They had those things turned up. I
was successful in passing my mics and batts around and by the 4th pass and wand, security finally waved me thru. As such,
my 9v lead was slightly loose when the band started. There is a minor left channel dropout during A.W. and a more
prominent one during C&C. I was able to do a right channel copy during theses segments. The first is rendered nearly
undetectable the second appears as a slight crackle during the first bridge of C&C. There is minor phasing throughout
as security moved around the lower right stack. It still sounds great IMHO. A slight amount of EQ was applied in Har-Bal
to remove a bit of the rumble. I edited out Jimmy's and warm-up guy Don's remarks. No great loss.

Please support the band by purchasing their upcoming album "Unvarnished" or by going to see them on tour!
